What a replay shows
Choose a session and Modovisa plays the visit back as an ordered sequence of pages, advancing a step at a time so you can follow the route the visitor took. The session's details sit beside it, so you always know whose visit you are looking at.
- Every page in the session, in order, with time spent on each

- Country and city, device, browser and the referrer that sent them

It replays the path, not the screen
This is a page-by-page replay of where a visitor went, not a video of what they saw. Mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and screen contents are not recorded, which is why the tracking script stays small and there is nothing sensitive to mask. If what you need is pixel-level recordings and heatmaps for UX research, a dedicated replay tool is the better buy, and we would rather say that here than surprise you after signup.
Finding the session worth opening
Sessions are browsed a day at a time, with a calendar showing which days had activity, so you can jump straight to the day a campaign ran or a page changed. Visits with no page views are left out, and each session is marked once you have viewed it so you can work through a day without losing your place.
When to use it instead of the live view
The live view answers what is happening now and only keeps a short tail. Replay is for everything older: the visit from this morning, or the traffic a campaign sent last week. If you run campaigns, the Campaigns workspace can hand you a session list already narrowed to one campaign, which is the quickest way to see where its traffic went after landing.
Frequently asked questions
Does session replay record the screen?
No. It replays the path of the visit — the pages in order, the time spent on each, and the session's referrer, campaign, device and location. Mouse movement, clicks and screen video are not captured.
Is session replay included on the Free plan?
Session replay is included on every paid plan and throughout the 21-day trial. After the trial the Free plan keeps live tracking and journeys, without replay, until you upgrade. Paid plans start at $14.99 a month.
Can I look at the sessions from one campaign?
Yes. From the Campaigns workspace you can open a session list filtered to a single campaign name or source.
How far back can I replay?
As far as your plan keeps history: 30 days on Free, and unlimited on paid plans.
