Modovisa features
Real-time visitor tracking, per-visitor journeys, session replay on paid plans, real-time ecommerce tracking for shops, first-party UTM and ROAS reporting, and an Agency add-on for client delivery — one workspace that answers who is on your site now, what they are doing, and which marketing brought them.
Every feature in detail
- Real-time visitor tracking — Who is on the site right now, with the page, referrer, campaign, country and device for each visitor.
- Page journeys — The route each visitor took, the time spent on every page, and the page where they stopped.
- Session replay — Step back through a finished visit page by page. A path timeline, not a screen recording.
- Real-time ecommerce tracking — Shoppers in a basket or a checkout right now, every sale as it lands, and the full baskets people walked away from.
- Real-time UTM campaign tracking — Tagged visitors as they arrive, first-party UTM tables, a link builder, and naming rules that stop tagging drifting apart.
- Goal tracking — Mark which events count as a win — purchase, signup, lead — and see which campaign earned them.
- ROAS tracking — Spend against the visits and goals it produced, with a choice of attribution models.
- Ads Connect — Import Meta and Google Ads spend automatically instead of pasting numbers in each week.
- Agency add-on — Client logins, white-label branding, your domain, and share links — one add-on on Growth and above.
Real-time visitor tracking: see who is on your site right now
The live view lists the visitors currently active: the page each one is on, the referrer or campaign that sent them, and their country, device and browser. It updates as events arrive, so publishing a post or switching on an ad gives you an answer in seconds rather than tomorrow morning.
- Live visitor list with page, referrer, campaign, country and device — every plan
- Bot traffic identified on arrival and reported separately — paid plans
Page journeys and session replay: follow one visit at a time
Every visit is a sequence of pages. Journeys show that sequence per visitor — the landing page, each step after it, the time spent on each, and where they stopped — instead of an average that cannot tell you which page lost them. Session replay steps through the same path for visits that have already finished.
- Per-visitor journeys in the live view — every plan
- Session replay of finished visits, page by page — paid plans and the 21-day trial
Real-time ecommerce tracking: watch a shop while people are still in it
For a store, the funnel runs from visits through product views and baskets to completed orders, and shows how many people fell away at each step. Alongside it, the live panel lists the shoppers who are in a basket or a checkout at this moment with what their basket is worth, orders appear with the number your store printed as they land, and a basket someone walked away from is kept — with its value, the stage they reached, and a replay of the visit that ended in nothing. The journey marks the page a shopper filled their basket from, so which product they chose is part of the story rather than a guess, even on a store whose basket slides out over the page.
- Funnel from visits to completed orders, with the drop at every step — every plan
- Shoppers in a basket or checkout right now, and every sale as it lands — Growth and above
- Baskets people walked away from, with values and session replay — Growth and above
- A 21-day Store trial with all of it switched on — Free and Standard
- Totals kept apart per currency, so a store pricing per market never sees rupees added to yen
UTM campaigns and ROAS: tie marketing spend to what visitors did
Campaign reporting starts with UTM tables that separate paid traffic from organic. The Campaigns workspace adds the tooling around them: a link builder and naming rules that keep tagging clean, goals, a choice of attribution models, and ROAS once spend is in — entered by hand or imported from Meta and Google Ads.
- Dashboard UTM tables — Standard and above
- Campaigns workspace with link builder, goals, attribution models and ROAS — Growth and above
- Ads Connect for automatic Meta and Google Ads spend import — Pro Lite and above
Installation: one script, nothing to reinstall
Every feature runs from the same small first-party script. Install it through the Shopify app, the WordPress plugin or the Drupal module, or paste the snippet into any other platform, and moving up a plan unlocks features on data you are already sending.
Frequently asked questions
Which features are on the Free plan?
Live visitor tracking and per-visitor journeys, within 1,000 events a month on one site and 30 days of history. Session replay, UTM tables and bot analytics are included throughout the 21-day trial, then need a paid plan.
Do I need to install anything extra for replay or campaigns?
No. One script powers every feature, so upgrading unlocks features on data you are already sending with nothing to reinstall.
Does session replay record the screen?
No. Modovisa replays the path of a visit — the pages in order, with time spent on each and the session's referrer, campaign, device and location. Mouse movement, clicks and screen video are not captured.
Which plan unlocks ROAS?
Growth includes the Campaigns workspace and ROAS with spend you enter yourself. Pro Lite and above adds Ads Connect for automatic Meta and Google Ads spend import.
Do I need to add anything to my store for ecommerce tracking?
The script recognises cart, checkout and order-confirmation pages by itself, so the funnel fills in as soon as tracking is live. What it cannot invent is the money: order values and numbers come from your store. The WordPress plugin sends them for WooCommerce without configuration, the Shopify app reports checkout and orders through Shopify's own pixel, and any other platform sends the amount with its purchase event.
